Abstract The article proposes design investigation and experimental results of a coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed square slot antenna that gives wideband circular polarization. This polarization characteristic is achieved by embedding shape stub to left bottom corner an L-shaped strip the right upper slot. A high impedance bandwidth 87.8 % (3.6–9.0 GHz), wide axial ratio 73.05 (4.2–9.0 GHz) 3-dB beamwidth 90° in entire frequency range interest are with this structure. To improve bandwidth, three slots (two horizontal one vertical) scratched at exterior periphery ground plane. These perturbation assemblies accountable excite orthogonal modes help increase bandwidth. designed displays constant steady radiation patterns complete concern. overall dimension presented compact 0.24? × 0.01?.
